YOUTH
SCARBOROUGH PARISH YOUTH GROUP. Mrs Sara Rutter was appointed Parish Youth Worker & Lay School Chaplain at St.Augustine's Comprehensive School and works with a team of volunteers to help provide for the Social and Spiritual needs of our young people. Sara can be contacted at St.Augustine's School on 363280.
During Lent our young people will be taking part in the Lenten Reflections led by Bishop Drainey on theme of Jesus'question to the disciples "Who do you say I am"
The Confirmation programme is now underway and the next meeting is on Monday March 2nd at 7.30pm.We are using the Cafe Youth programme,see below for the link to Youth Cafe.

Faith Movement - A group of priests, religious and lay Catholics drawn together by a shared vision of Christ.
Sion Community - Lots of stuff going on for young people including mission team, leadership training and youth programme for gap year students.
Youth 2000 - is an independent, international initiative that helps young adults aged 16-35 plug back into God at the heart of the Roman Catholic Church.
Youth Cafe- 6 sessions based around DVDs. Explore your faith....ask questions....have fun!
Young Christian Workers - an organisation which links groups of young people/young adults together through friendship, formation and action.
Youth SVP - Youth SVP is a voluntary Christian organisation. When you join a Youth SVP group, you volunteer to offer one-to-one help and support to people in need in the local community.
